I spent a few days in Kansas City recently with the incredible B&H Freight team.
B&H (Belton and Harrisonville Freight Line) has been moving freight in and out of the KC metro for almost 80 years: raw materials in, finished goods out, on a tight schedule that keeps production lines running.
Like many companies in supply chain, freight, and distribution, B&H had 80 years of expertise and craftsmanship, but very limited visibility into its own data.
30 hours of driver payroll, found in half a day
One half-day analysis connecting payroll, ELD, and order data surfaced roughly 30 hours of wasted driver payroll every week.
B&H changed its loading process so trucks were ready before drivers showed up, reclaiming about an hour per driver per day. That one change paid for their license ten times over.
Five territories
Once we mapped pickup and delivery density, their KC routing footprint collapsed cleanly into five optimal territories. The highest-density zip code turned out to be Paola, which surprised everyone.
No rip-and-replace
None of this required ripping out any systems. The data was already there; it just needed context.
As Mike Morgan, B&H's CEO, put it:
When you've done this as long as I have, you become a creature of habit; you assume a load always goes on a certain route, when it may not be the most efficient anymore. But that experience also means I know exactly where our systems break, and I'm confident that what's broken for me is broken for everyone else too. The solutions we've found aren't exclusive to B&H, the whole industry stands to gain from what Structify has built.

There are thousands of B&Hs
Carriers, manufacturers, distributors: family businesses with decades of operating knowledge trapped in messy exports and manual workflows. They don't need a rebuild. They need their own data handed back to them in a form they can act on.
A special thank you to Matthew Scott Douglas, who has been a true believer and power user of Structify since the early days, and one of the people who pushed us into the supply chain space.
